Welcome to Pine Green Academy
We are a 7-16-year-old SEMH special school supporting vulnerable children and young people to achieve their educational potential and live positive fulfilling lives.
For the vast majority of young people, the traditional mainstream school model works well. However, for some of our pupils a smaller, more intensive approach (sometimes with alternative accreditation) is the best environment for them to achieve success in their learning. We specialise in providing bespoke learning opportunities, carefully tailored to meet the individual needs of each of our pupils. We endeavour to work in partnership with parents or carers and young people to secure the best possible provision supporting positive learning outcomes.
Relationships between pupils and staff are strong
Our vision for Pine Green Academy is that it provides the best provision possible for each of our pupils through developing a range of strategies and approaches to meet their individual needs. We want all of our pupils to have excellent experiences in education every day.
I am lucky to be supported by Stu Williams (Head of School) and Charmaine Clarke-Putzgruber (Head of Primary). Together alongside a talented and motivated staff we are committed to supporting the proud, vibrant and diverse community of Wolverhampton and its neighbouring communities.
In March 2020 Pine Green Academy joined the Shaw Education Trust family. All our pupils and staff benefit from the strong support of a number of primary and secondary schools. There is strong collaboration between the schools with excellent CPD opportunities for staff.
